I did a search on here and the other forum and found a few suppliers. Which mounts are you guys running and how much were they? Any input would be great.

Looking to put some in when i do headers in the next few weeks. My engine is really rockin since i put the cam in.

you can't go wrong with creative steel. Max will take very good care of you and they have different levels of mounts to fit your needs.

Creative Steel......just MAKE SURE you get the aftermarket heat shields or they will melt.

With stock manifolds and an otherwise stock motor the poly mounts might be fine without heatshields. Throw on headers and start making some more power with a head/cam package or a Maggie and your motor is going to be making more heat, I would get the heatshields and do it right the first time. Running the heat shields is cheap insurance.

I'm running the creative steel grey poly mounts on my 05 that is maggie'd/head/cam/17/8" kooks headers, WITH heat shields and I LOVE the mount.

I would stay away from a poly trans mount, mine caused crazy vibrations and I went back to stock.

I'm having the CS "black" mounts installed today...WITH aftermarket heatshields.

Looking forward to the new smoother shifts.

Are these motor mounts going to transmit alot of vibration? I have a stock '07 and had suspected the last few weeks that my stock mounts were shot. I changed the oil this weekend and they look like they leaked (brownish stain)or something. Anyway, I do plan to mod in the future when my C5 is done (are they ever done?). So, going after market with shields seems like a good way to go but it is our daily and have our first baby girl on the way.

creative steel mounts here.

They say you dont need the shields with aftermarket headers, but I didnt want to take the chance.

I wrapped mine, Alot easier then wrapping the headers
