Angry Got t-boned by a 19yr old scallywag today

Just bought my V in March. 04 with 28k miles. Headed back from lunch today and some 19yr old bitch decides to gun it out of a side street w/o looking and smashes right into the left side and sends me sliding into oncoming traffic. Having a 600 hp 03 Cobra in the past definately helped me learn car control as I was able to control the slide and avoid the F150 coming at me. The rear unibody is pretty crushed and the door will not open and does not even come close to lining up with the body. Luckily my 11 month old son was not in the car. I have never hit a women but I have a feeling a savage beating would have ensued.

Lmfao, she was not ugly but had a huge rack so that brings her up a notch. I wont know what the damage is for a few days. The officer on the scene was very cool and liked the car as well. Basically the report is going to say it is 100% her fault. Told me I can get the report in 2-3 days and he would get it done asap as he knew how upset I was.

My insurance already called hers and filed the claim. The rear unibody is completely crushed right now. It took me 3-4 months to find this car, low miles pristine black on black sunroof delete. I want to take it to get it looked at to see if I should looking for another but the damn tire is rubbing the fender over bumps. I am so pissed, I absolutely love this car.

I think you might be alright if you have low miles because when I got in a wreck the value came to 28grand and so it mine didn't get totaled and i had 36k on the clock. Hope it all works out for ya and glad your kid wasn't in the car with you. Let me know if you need any help seeing how insurance can be real a-holes make sure they don't try to get chinese bs to replace your parts and so on.

Good luck!

The good part is I run an autobody repair distribution account and supply over 50 dealers in my area so they will take care of me. I am going to call one of our salesman as he used to manage a bodyshop and ask him what he thinks. He is good friends with all of the bodyshop managers in our area too.

Yup, when I bought the car it was stock other than Specter cradle bushings, immaculate condition always garage kept. I added a few minor things. I dont know if she was texting but when I saw her pull out I braced for the impact. Previous high on the g meter in that direction was .82 it was at 1.07 during the slide after she hit me. My back and neck are sore today but no worse than after a day in the gym. How do they fix the rear unibody by the door? It is crushed from top to bottom and looks like it is 1 structure from the roof up and forward to the door pillars.

At this point I would be slamming on my horn, I cant stand people who text/talk on their phone while driving....I have seen people that can manage it, and are still attentive to driving, but they are few and far between

Sorry to hear about the damage man, it almost looks like a new door, fender, and some work on the area under the door, and it should be good to go......the only thing I wouldn't like about fixing it, is it'll knock down your resale value, as cars that have been wrecked aren't worth as much.
