Question Safe places to jack the V from...?

If you want to leave your actual jack points open for placing stands, where are good alternative places to actually lift the car from? I've recently gone from under the spring perch in both the front and rear, and I've also used a 2x4 and gone along that frame rail (?). Any other suggestions?

I would go just a small distance away from the actual specified point. put the jack stand right next to the jack itself and there you go. what I did with mine and worked fine. I just went slow when lifting it up so I could watch the side panels and make sure there was no load on them.

Use the frame rails underneath the triangle specifiers.

I had forgotten, but I remember mention of those pucks before. Safe to say that even without the pucks, where the pucks go would be safe as a jack position using a block of wood or something.
