Default Hi new guy in chicago

hey guys, ive had my 05 V for a few months and have been lurking on here for a while. just wanted to say hi to you all.

took my car down the 1/4 for the first time, and i was very pleased.
60' 1.88
ran a 12.895 @ 107.45

mods so far- corsa cat back and intake

that is a damn good time for those mods...and that 60' is ridiculous...

have you done anything else to the car? with those times, i would think you would have a lot more done.

Damn, those are crazy fast times for your mods. Any pics or videos?

Any mods to the rear? That is a killer 60'.

I will post a time slip and maybe a video. I did forget to mention the car has a b&m shifter. Also I suspect the car has a tune but I'm not sure since I bought the car used. ALL suspension components are stock. Street continental tires

very nice run man.

i think the biggest issue we have had with the v's are people who arent really drag veterans. those who are really good at dragging a car have gotten their stock v into 12's basically stock. which is where the car normally should be.

if anything his mph seems a bit low for a v at 12.8.

so i would doubt he has any other mods.

Exactly what I was thinking..... I just had good launches and shifted as hard as I possibly could

I did three runs. First was like a 13.03. Second was around 13.07. And the third was the 12.8. All I did was Rev the car to around 4-5k and Quickly slip the clutch. Had traction off each time
