First time ever at a drag strip. Made 5 passes....I may be hooked on this sh*t so I best start looking for a back up diff.

A couple ?'s for the V1 guys: What tire pressure are you running in the rear tires? Are you launching with the TC on or off? All my runs were done with the TC off...

I generally leave the tires at 30, and run with the TC on. Like you, I've had MUCH better luck with it on.

With some cooler weather, that Maggie will sing...not that 65 degrees is hot. But with heat soak and a better DA, you should hit deeper 12s easy...IMHO.

Dude... thanks for the info.

All my runs were done with TC off....Minimal spinning through 3 gears. I had the tires down to 26 lbs by end of the night. Next time I'm going to make some runs with TC on. I know the Maggie likes the cold air. Will try to make it out again when it gets a little colder.

For Tom and some of the other guys who are able to get some low 60' times, what are you guys doing? I cant seem to get this heavy sled to cut a good 60'.

Maybe some psi tips, take off tips, etc. It could be helpful for all of us to share some more of these ideas now that this thread is going on its 2nd year.

Sorry I don't have any big tips, I just launched from idle and mashed the pedal. Tire pressure was around 32 psi and the NT-555's hooked with no wheel spin and I was off. I don't bog at all, I guess that's about how I hit the throttle and engage the clutch but I'm not thinking too hard about it, I just go. Definitely have to slip the clutch a bit I guess to keep the rpms moving.

Launching harder results in too much wheel hop (I have no wheel hop fixes installed at the moment).

Another PB for me. If I could have pulled a 2.0 60 foot like I usually do, I am gonna say this would of been a 12.4 or .5 run.

Have a cell phone video of this pass. Will post it later.

Great run! I can't wait to get back to the track with the new mods. Each time someone posts a new PB, I get the itch.

10.53 at 134.56mph

Did a track rental at Edgewater last Friday. 21 passes today in 5 hours! I put more passes on this car today then I have in it's lifetime.

Raised stall converter has me learning to launch fighting traction. Car has stock block still. Find more videos on YouTube channel weaponxmotorsports.com
1.72 60'
6.91 at 108.1MPH in the eigth
10.53 at 134.56MPH in the quarter

there is SO much left on the table with the way this is getting through the 330' at only 4.607

best run:
