That thing sounds BEASTLY! Did you decide against cutouts?

FWIW - I talked to Dave from DMH last week, placed a gift order for a 3" e-cutout and it was shipped the very next day. Hooray for 4 year warranties instead of QTPs 90-day! I submitted a paypal payment directly to ecutout@yahoo.com and specified the details that the online form asks for, using Paypal's notes section to "place my order".

I know this topic has been kicked around over and over, but he has been out of pocket due to family issues and the people he had working for him weren't answering the phones and the website wasn't submitting the orders correctly or notifying them that orders were being placed. He's working on a full revamp of the website, which should be done in the next 2 weeks or so, but if you're looking for the low profile cutouts you can order directly from DMH or Maryland Speed has them back on their site now: http://marylandspeed.com/dmh-low-pro...ut-p-1313.html

I'm crossing my fingers that someone will gift some to me for Christmas (riiiiight ...) or I'm biting the bullet after Christmas to go for it!

OBX 1 7/8 headers, hi-flow cats, stock catback w/ stock resonator but with stock mufflers swapped out for Maxflow stainless straight-thru mufflers (these are basically Magnaflow clones but have slightly better flow).

As usual, the video doesn't perfectly describe the sound. It has a very deep rumble at idle that the video doesn't catch. Turn your bass up all the way and maybe you'll come close. That rumble carries quite a distance. However, it is not loud or raspy, thanks to having the stock resonator in place. There was some resonance when I first had them swapped out, but the resonance has diminished almost completely as the mufflers have broken in, and it's developed a throatier note. I like it more and more. My next mod would be to get rid of the resonator because I actually want a little more volume and crispness, but I may hold off and save my coin till I can put a full 3-inch catback on there.

Very nice! Hey what X-Pipe did you choose to go with? Been thinking about ditching my Resonator as well as mine is rattling right now and is annoying when I go WOT.

As you can tell from the rest of the exhaust, it's just generic stuff welded up from Autozone/Discount auto lol

Cheapest exhaust ever

Gets compliments frequently, one last night from a guy from New Jersey in a Gran Prix lol

What you see in my pic is all that's modified. Headers and the cats are still hanging around.

Stainless Works headers, 2" primaries, 3" catless X pipe into the stock muffler.

Just for giggles....

This clip though is with the QTP cutouts open installed before the muffler.

QTP's open at WOT.

The 3rd clip I toggle the cutouts open and closed under driving conditions.

Interior run...video was down with my phone, and it a bit shaky.

My exhaust set up is American Racing headers, no cats, stock mufflers. Auto transmission is in sport mode...and you can see how fast this thing will drop down into 2nd gear...

One of these days I will do an exterior/interior clip with a better camera.
