Default Remove the Center console

Does any one have a write up on How to remove the center console?

I pulled the console out but I found this plug that goes nowhere.
what it is?

That not it. The plug for the lighter goes under the dash
this plugs is by the shifter.

REAR lighter guy. There is 2 in the car.

Based solely on what I just saw in the file you posted, it looks to be the shift indicator lamp electrical connector.

Most likely for the regular CTS cars with auto transmissions. They just used the same wiring harness for our manual trans cars.

Just my guess.

anybody figure what it is? Im redoing my carpet and took off the center of my console and found it there just hanging, sorry to blow the dust offa this grave thread

I don't know but when I take out my console the only plug is for the rear power outlet and it doesn't look like this and doesn't exist in this area.
