i have the magnaflow cat back on my 05 v and planning to get the kooks lt headers and had some questions. do i need to get the kooks high flow cats or the off road pipes to make it work or will the headers bolt on to the the cat back, if so what do i do with the extra o2 sensors can i just leave them unplug or can a muffler shop make me the holes to plug them in thx in advance

I have the same setup and unfortunately the magnaflow doesn't directly up to the kooks headers. Doesn't matter if your using the off road connectors or high flow cats. I took my to a performance shop for the work.

^^^ What he said, and when you get the car tuned have them delete the rear o2s and just take them out completely. Wire tie the connectors wherever you can.

yes, you need to have custom made connector pipes made that go from the headers to the magnaflow catback. doesnt matter if you have cats or not you still have to have the connectors made. kooks only offers the connectors for factory catbacks or corsa.

so can I use the the cooks factory connectors to go to the magnaflow and have a shop put them on, or is custom connectors the only way. I thought the magnaflow cat back was similar to the factory

You can get the HF Cats for Factory Connection, and connect it to a Magnaflow system. It just requires a custom weld job at the X pipe.

I could swear I read that kooks was going to start making magnaflow connection pipes.... Did that fall through?

If your going cat less then I would recommend getting the kooks connectors. The nice thing is that they have the good quality flanges needed to connect to the long tubes (See pictures above). Then you just need a little fab work from the connectors to the X-Pipe as others have said.

I thought about just having the connectors made from a performance shop but for the $200 from kooks it was worth it.
