I met someone that used to work for Hydramatic. He told me one of the baddest development cars he drove was a V1 awd LS6. They built a handful of them, then crushed them all.

An AWD V would have been a wicked beast! That Porsche LS1 conversion is pimp.

i dont know how they would fit any of that stuff in the front of our cars...

or even worse two shitty getrag diffs?

I've been subscribed to that thread for a couple of months now. The guy building it is batshit crazy(in a GOOD way) if you ask me!

I pop into the conversions and hybrids section every now and then to see what kind of builds are going on out there. There really is some interesting stuff out there. I wish I had the resources that these guys have to be able to tinker like they do. I'd love to put a Duramax/Allison combo into a '66-'70 Deville convertible, or do a '68-'70 GTO with a complete '04-'06 GTO interior and a built LS2/T56.

No doubt...I sent a link to a buddy who is a Mustang owner and he replied "That's one of the most impressive conversions I've ever seen." I could only imagine the types of stuff I would get into if I had the resources $$$ and the equipment to achieve that type of build.
