Default My other car.

I don't believe i have ever posted anything on my other car but ive been a bit excited its the first time it has ran in almost 4 years to the day. There is to many mods to list better of saying its bored, cammed, and fully forged with solid lifters

bates 2.2 race block

diamond .020 over bore 9.5:1 pistons on Carrillo H beams

Towing it to the shop!

The Entire motor in the trunk of the V!

Built

As the car sits today!

and The first start up Video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5MSwlYJ5OY

It took a few to get it to idle because its running 110 psi with the new return style fuel system it needs to only be 60 psi... Still trying to work out the kinks

So what sort of numbers are you expecting it to produce? I assume the supercharger has been tweaked a bit?

hopefully as it sits it makes around 300 or a little over! The motor is set up to be twin charged but that is after i break the motor and clutch in. In the end Im hoping for 550 whp

The new TC balts are pretty easy to make great power... it cost a little more to build a high hp LSJ lol

Should be fun to try and hook 550hp to the front wheels lol. And people think the V is hard to launch haha. Sounds sick. Post the dyno vids.

Nice ride. Always liked the Cobalt SS. Heard the SS/TC is sick too.

The TC has direct injection so a basic dyno tune puts them typically over 300 whp and around 320 wtq! The weakest thing in my motor right now is my crank. It is rated for 800 hp or so... I think with 550is whp it should be somewhat reliable. ill most likely run into transmission problems down the road that is one of the reasons I only have DSS stage 2 axles rated for 400 hp hopefully they pop before something else lets go.

http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...1123&catid=188
paid huge dividends keeping my IAT2's down on the saab IM.
BTW which injectors you running, i ran 79's with great success using a returnstyle system and setting my base pressure at 42psi.
