Looks like a fun day.
What's your opinion of CVR? Any drifting sand on the surface that creates problems?
Any overheating issues? Although it has been cooler than normal for that area, temps should still be nudging 100 deg.
I know the Desert Center area like the back of my hand, so after I moved back east... they build a track!
I've been curious about the track.

The sand wasnt to much of a problem, but the heat was, at least with all my power mods. It was 98 degrees and after about 20min my oil temp was to high and I had to get off. My temp gauge has always ran higher than what seems relative to my water temp, but I wasnt taking any chances. Getting an oil cooler put on with an accusump for crazy lefthanders...
Overall it is a fun track but a little tight for the V, the Mazda Miattas and S2000s were much better suited to the short straights...
