VERY similar to my runs except I keep my 60's around 2.2 to be safe. I dyno'd ~25hp less though. I wonder if my numbers really are off or if it is just the individual dyno being setup a little different since other cam-only V's have been running high 12's too.

Dyno, elevation, ambient temperature, heat soak, all kinds of things to factor in there. Mostly the dyno, I would guess.

They only real way to know is to yank the motor and put it into a controlled environment and dyno the motor alone.

You two aren't doing too bad! only a 1 mph difference, and a few hundredths of seconds!

Come to find out. Sacramento raceways clocks were calibrated for NHRA. Or something?? They have since been calibrated and are said to be reading 3-4mph lower now. So that makes sense I guess. I put a pic of the slip up in that post! Lol

I've been to Sacramento before, that track was way too fast before. My buddys camaro ran 12.8@112 over there. Then he came to firebird raceway here in az, and went 13.3@109 with the same 60 ft.

man these cars are so disappointing at the track lol. highest trap ive ever seen from a stock one is 109mph, but yet on tuesday i ran a friend's big turbo GTi. he ran 13.1 @ 113mph, and i pulled about a car on him.

Cold tires. Hop city, not as bad as stock, but still bad. Did a quick little warm up 2-3 seconds, no hop on the burn out if you dump it high enough. 1,800 rpm, use the clutch and youre off. Was good for a 2.0.
