Default Wheels

We'll ive got ccw SP600's black/metallic. Whatever they put on them when they sold them. The problem is that there is water spots all over them and I have no idea how to get them off. I have tried scrub brushes....... wheel cleaner...... and even the backside to a dish spong. The thing with the scotch pad on the back.

Anyone know something that will take them off..... It makes them look realllllllly shitty in the sunlight

YEEEEESH.. scotch pad?!?!?! That's one hell of a way to ruin the finish.. First thing you need to do is find out what the exact TYPE of finish on the wheels is before you do more damage.

CLR from Home Depot? Full name is Calcium Lime Rust. The water spots are probably mineral deposits. Read the bottle first to make sure it won't destroy the wheel's finish, though.

Why not clay bar them?

Then go over them with some cleaner wax.

Should take off all those spots, and make it harder for dirt to stick to them later

+1 on that. Those things are rough on any finished surface. Just ask my wife that tried scrubbing the stainless panels on the stove with one. What a mess. lol

If it's paint, try a paint polish. Do you know if they are painted? Or PC'd? Or anodized?

I can powder coat super high gloss, wet look, satin, flat, light texture, etc. The options are endless. Go to columbiacoatings.com and powderbythepound.com to see some of the color options available in powder these days.
