Default Clutch install, couple questions

Well, I might install my new clutch tomorrow. I have the new flywheel, and clutch. LS2 flywheel, and Cartec clutch. I also have the c6 z06 slave cylinder.

Now is there anything else I should need? I hear a lot of people talking about a remote bleeder, but I haven't seen that as necessary. Any other recommendations, tips, tricks, torque specs, anything? I also bought the stock length c6 z06 flywheel bolts as I was told those are needed because the CTS-V bolts are longer.

Thanks for the advice.

I would have picked up some ARP flywheel bolts personally but otherwise i think your covered. The remote bleeder is nice for the money since you can put it in the engine bay and bleed it without getting under the car.

Great thanks for the heads up bud, the intake is ordered too so I won't be suffocating my heads cam setup anymore, next would be a throttle body. I heard about the ls2 tb's working. Any specifics on that?

ls2 tb will work on a FAST not an ls6 though due to the 3 bolt ls6 and 4 bolt ls2. If you do switch you have to run a different harness for the ls2 since its a little different wiring. You can get the harness from caspers.

get the remote bleeder, when i did my clutch a few months ago , first one ever , and not a bad job either really , but get a remote bleeder , it looks like a bitch , ive never bled one , but just looking it a pita and using the tick remote bleeder was easy as pie.

Im about to do a clutch install myself. This is some useful info. I have the clutch, flywheel and i believe the throwout bearing and all other hardware. I was gonna ask what else i should get too. Slave cylinder? remote bleeder? Anything else?
