Default Man... 275/40's look like mudders... Lol

Guess I'm having to re-adjust to the look. I was running 295/35's and 255/40's and went back to a 275/40 in the rear and left the 255/40's up front. Does it ever look tall to me now in the rear. Makes the wheel look much smaller. Lol

I've had 245/45's all around, 275/35, 245/40 combo, 275/40, 245/45 combo and the 295/35, 255/40 combo. I think my fav was the 295, 255 combo. If I can't get used to these 275/40's, I'll have to go back to that.

Anyone else made the switch to a shorter tire and gone back? I didn't realize how big the difference was... Lol

I have a few misc pics I took on my phone with the 295/35, 255/40 combo on it. Shoot me a text and I'll send em to ya. 832-298-0768. Or... I'll send em to my email and post em up tomorrow if I can.

What wheels did you have the 295 on and what tire was it?

I'm running Nitto Invo 275/35 on stock wheels in rear and love the look. IMO 275/40 is too chunky.

All sizes were on stock wheels. The 295's were some Toyo T1S's. Old tires but a buddy have em to me for free so I test fit em to see if they'd work. They fit like the Goodyear GSD3's I had in a 275/40 but shorter. Maybe Toyos run narrow but they didn't look bad at all.

I'll try to post pics in a bit. Haven't even taken any since I put the new nitto 275/40's on a couple days ago. Figured so many people here were running the 245/45, 275/40 combo that pics wouldn't be necessary. Lol

The 275/35, 245/40 combo looked nice but a little too short IMO. I was running Dunlop sport maxx DSST's in that size and didn't really care for em. I'd say a 285/35 out back and 245 or 255/40 up front would be perfect on this car.

I'll keep looking for a deal on the size I really want. Couldnt pass up the pair of 275/40 Nitto 555's I picked up for $75 for both.

Yeah... I thought the same before I did it. They didn't look much different than the 275's

Are you lowered? My current street tires are stock sized while my track tires are 275/35/18 all the way around. Noticeably more wheel well gap which sucks too.

Yeah im lowered. I think im going to drop down to a 285/35/18 in the rear and run either a 255/40 or 245/40 up front. Although i will say... these 275/40's ride a little nicer being a little taller.

For all intensive purposes 275/40 is the same height as 245/45. I run 275/40 in the back and love it.

Yeah... They are the same diameter as the 245/45's. They didn't look bad when I ran them before but after running the shorter tires, switching back makes them look so much bigger to me. Maybe if I swap the 255/40's in the front out for some 245/45's, it'll look balanced and won't stand out so much.

I've got the 275/40 GSD 3's in the rear and they do look chunky. Still way better than stock

I had those exact same tires on mine a short while ago but they didnt last long. Then i went shorter for awhile and now im back to a 275/40. Just ordered some 275/35 and 245/40 BFG KDW II's though so i may throw these nittos up for sale with 300 miles on the pair.
