Default Red powdercoat grill

Anyone have a full car picture of a redline with a powdercoated grill like this one?

Don't think anyone has done it that I've seen. I'm a fan of paintmatching though over chrome so I say go for it!! I'd do the surrounding chrome as well.

On red it MIGHT look ok to leave the edges chrome... MAYBE.

Id just flat black the whole thing and throw some black wheels on it. Then again i HATE chrome in pretty much ANY form.

I saw a redline with black wheels. Can't say I'm feeling it. Black looks so much better on a black, silver, or stealth grey car because it is a complimentary color. On a red car the black wheels have to much contrast IMO. So I'm looking for something a bit different.

I am normally a contrast type person... Last car was blue with gun metal rims and blacked out lights and grill. before that was a black car with bronze wheels.

Try plasti dip... from my reading it comes off super easy if you dont like it..... I THINK.

Color matching is just so.... Hideious

I def wouldn't color match the wheels. Lol that would look horrible but as far as the grilles go, I think all red might not look bad. But yes... Red is a color where a little chrome looks ok. I agree though that black wheels look shitty on red. My favorite is obviously all black (murdered) but silver on black doesn't look bad. I don't think black wheels would look good on a stealth car though.

That'll look really good I think so long as you leave the chrome surround and wheels alone.

That'd look a lot better if the rest of the lights and orange crap were blacked out as well. And lowered of course.

Damn... That V on deep dish wheels looks nasty! I like that! But I agree that black wheel on the red V would look ok with side markers and tails smoked as well.

Red powdercoat grill-wheels4.jpg

The red line is on the tires, not the wheels.
