Default Spring and spacer install...

Will someone send me the MM spacer instructions please..?
guitar333ATgmail.com
That would be awesome.

I am putting my new brakes and springs on.

Do I remove the shock/spring as an assembly then use a spring compressor to remove - on both front and rear?

Guitar - that FAQ link is all you'll need to install the springs. The front are struts (remove as assembly, need compressor) and ther rears are shocks (springs are separate).

Thanks! I figured it out. Surprised how much easier than my other cars this was.

Still need to install my powdercoated calipers and SS brake lines.
Anyways, here's a few pics..

No! I was expecting them before the weekend so I could install them, but they didn't make it in time. I will have to put those on later this week.

I just bought a used set of H&R springs myself. Cant wait to get them on....Im not sure if Im going w/ the Z06 or the adjustable end links???

Are you not using any endlinks or are you using your stockers until the Z06s come in?

Yes, it was popped out a bit. That was before my trip to the store to buy some clips after I painted it.

Were those the right Z06 links you ordered? My springs came today, I'm going to try and put them on this weekend.

Don't be surprised when the links give you some trouble. They're a PITA and require some patience and/or beer. Just the right amount of load on the suspension (done via floor jack under A arm) will line things up to get the old ones out, then you'll have to find the happy spot again to get things lined up for the new links. Drilling the holes out STRAIGHT is very important. I killed 2 drill batteries doing it with a crappy bit. A good bit and a decent cordless drill would do you well. I have a thread or two on this topic that you'd find useful. Just search my posts.

What makes these so hard...Ive read several lowering threads where people complained about installing them. I HATE PITA stuff, especially something as simple as a little end link that should take 2 mins to swap out!!!

It's the one Creative Steel sells. Just over $100 powdercoated black. Makes you legit and beats drilling holes...
