This weekend This weekend I'll be up in Topton, NC right at the base of the Dragon. Heading up Friday night and staying til Sunday. M'lady is taking me up there for the weekend (my b-day is Thurs). If anyone wants to meet up and cruise lemme know.

Wow, I leave you ****** alone for a weekend and look what happens.

The car performed BEAUTIFULLY. I got a lot of compliments from the bikers and had almost no problems. The tires stuck GREAT. I pulled a max of .89 on the G-meter and I wasn't really paying attention to it. Front tires didn't make a peep. Rears stuck pretty well out of the corners, but I could get those to squeal a little whenever I wanted to. My only complaint is that they're noisy on the road. Yokohama S-drives FWIW.
Saturday morning the PSR window fell down (off the track). I'll have to find the fix-it thread I read a while back. For now it's being held up from inside with tape. Luckily it didn't rain at all this weekend where I was. I could not have asked for better weather.

Eh, not so bad. I saw one biker being cited in the twisties, and there were some cruising on the lower end on the Tennessee side down by the lake in the 40mph zone waiting for people to tear through there, but not so bad. There are enough ppl around to warn you when they're near and I think the 5-0 know that.
I did, however, get pulled over on the way home for tint. LOL. Luckily I was nice to the officer and got off with a warning.

I took the V to the Bristol race this past weekend. We stayed in Asheville, NC. I didn't make it to the Blue Ridge Parkway, but I have done that in my old F-body. Fun drive on 26 though! Not one issue on the 1200+ mile trip.
