Default 2009 CTS-V Matte Black 3M wrap

Not mine, but I found it poking around on the internets.

Doesn't look too bad at all, thought I'd point it out, since there were a few threads recently about doing a vinyl wrap on their V's.

That thing looks amazing.... The ad lists the cost for the wrap at $2,900. Is that about normal? I kinda dig it.... a lot!

Looks great, i just feel the headlights stand out way too much, might be in need of some light tinting at the paint shop.

If I end up keeping my V, I am strongly considering doing this.

I havent heard of it being done on V yet, but the guys over on Tundra Forum have been taking theirs apart and painting the chrome reflecting surround black...looks great, but its labor intensive as u need to bake the light to seperate the housing lense from the body - they make it seem easy, but prob not hard to really **** it up!

I did the bake thing on my Legacy. Looks GREAT. Just need to either rebake to seal or remove and replace with new RTV. Do that and you are normally good for a seal.

Has anyone tried about 10 cans of Plastidip? LOL I've seen full matte cars in plastidip that look just as good.

I remember seeing a convertible BMW fully plasti dipped, as well as some Subaru. Both looked just as good as a vinyl wrap.
