Just popping in to say hello. I'll be doing a lot of reading before I post too much more.
I have a red 2005 CTS-V which I'd like to get more power out of.

Heres what it said when I first got it from the dealership. Apparently the previous owner was quite a joker
Day after getting it (next to my roomies 2010 GTI)
And here it is after tint "27%" because that's the legal limit in SC (where I was living) with my El Camino in the background

Ex-roommate lol. I moved out. I only have a few complaints with it so far.
1) The cup-holders are in a dreadful spot. Then again I'm not used to having cup holders (S2000 didn't have any, the El Camino doesn't have any)
2) The parking brake is weird and I've popped the hood on accident more than once
3) That damn 1-4 shift.
4) I wish it were louder

2)I too have popped the hood, but don't worry because it doesn't work very well and you will probably stop using it as I have.
3) You can get a CAGS off FLEEBAY for $20 or so....That or just shift above 19mph and it's not an issue.
4) I did a muffler delete and gutted the cats. $150 or so with tips and all the welding.....Sounds JUST AS GOOD as many of the catbacks I've heard and A LOT cheaper.
Welcome and as long as you don't mind the occasional smartass comment or sarcastic view then you should LOVE this site.

^What he said about the skip-shift. ~$20 off of e-bay and it has worked flawless since I got my V 15 months ago. Otherwise my Redline '05 is stock and it'll most likely be staying that way.

Just watch out for this Cole Graham guy. He will pretend that he has a V and is in the military....Truth is he drives a Kenworth tow truck and is a convicted pedophile that specializes in beastiality on young disabled farm animals. Other than that it's a pretty cool crowd LMAO! Truth is that everyone on here has been very informative and helpful.
