Default Sold my V

Well, right as I had talked myself into keeping the V, a guy came and got it. It was bitter sweet, I liked that car more than anything else I have owned so far.

That being said, now I have to decide between a V2 and a Z06.....

I just got $20.5K on a trade for my '05V with 39K on the clock. MAYBE could have sold it for $22K or so but not worth the hassle to me. Picked up an '09 SRT8 Jeep.

I'll have to report back when I have the Jeep. Just arranging transport now. There are a number of guys on the SRT8 boards who have had both a V and the Jeep. All were very positive on the Jeep as a comparison to V1/V2. Here's a few pics:

Badass Jeep....I'm currently looking into getting another jeep for the woman. She currently has a Grand Cherokee Overland with 100k trouble free miles.

Your V1 yes....most stockish V1s will have a hard time with one of those jeeps. They are no joke...

OOH! I MUST weigh in on this one, because I owned an '07 SRT8 up until early this year. I had a number of bolt on's (intake, TB, catch can, underdrive pulley, t-stat, tune etc). I can tell you these vehicles are NOT a joke; they pull like a frieght train! As mentioned above, from a dig they are tough to beat, and the sheer torque they throw down keeps things moving along in spite of the size and weight factors. Hard to explain vs my '06 V; they're both very fast but the Jeep felt faster probably due to the auto trans. You "feel" the g-forces more. I had to sell it to refinance a mortgage and after that was done decided to spend less on a performance vehicle. That's when I found my V which was about $8k less expensive. At any rate, the Jeeep is a really fun vehicle which gets "WTF" looks all the time!

I'm not disagreeing. But my buddie had a newer model srt8 before he traded it in for his V2. We were both stock and we had done multiple 1st and 2nd gear pulls. Each with me winning everytime by a little less than a car. From a dig? I'm not stupid. Haha. But I loved his jeep. But I like his v2 more now

If you want a big soft fast SUV with little or no human envolvment in making it go other htan your right foot. Then get a SRT8 jeep. They are VERY quick and can be made much quicker for very little.

I agree with Biggie and wcryan. Compared to a V2 there is no comparison! V2 every time. The Jeep was a great driving vehicle, it served multiple purposes, was very comfortable and I loved every second of the time I had it. Agreed there's virtually no human involvement with the process other than right foot down/hang on. Still fun though lol. It also had a really good Nav system, backup camera w/sensors to make the drives enjoyable. Just my .03 cents, ymmv!
