Default Time for some kicks

Hey guys im in the process of looking for some new wheels. Just wanted to see if yall would post what yall got and the specs. Thinking of 20s but idk how they would look. May just stick to 18s.

19s are the perfect size IMO, 18s are stock and 20s are ghetto.

I agree. 19s just seem to suit the car perfectly.

After looking at pics i agree. One problem now. The wheels i want dont come in 19s. If i put 20s how low can i drop the car to bring it back down? Or wat tire can i run to keep same height as the factories?

With the same width a 245/35/20 is the closest tire you'll find in width and diameter. It's only bigger by a 10th of an inch in diameter.

You can play around with this: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

19 by 8.5/10 Linea Corse 855s.. lowered on H&R springs. dayum near perfect fitment(could use a spacer up front and without trailing arms not a lot of room to spare on the rear)...

Mind the dirt.

I love em

Also a Linea Corse product from wheeldude.

BE FOREWARNED:
you'll likely have all kinds of "fun" making these wheels fit, especially if you're lowered. Search my threads on issues I had and how they were resolved. Good luck!!

So does it matter if you're lowered before new rims or after? To me, it seems that get the new rims THEN lower. Would that make it easier to do?

Not really. use a known rim/tire combo to work then lowered and do either at any time. To install springs you have to take the wheels off...

If you get one of the 10inch rear linea corse setups. Try and find some MAP trailing arms. Without them the clearance is minimal.

MAP arms aren't available (new) anymore. There is someone over at caddy forums that's working on fabbing up something similar though. Check that out.

Here is mine on 20s, the gap isnt too bad, a minimal drop would be ideal, but I can live with the stock height

Max tire width depends a lot on rim offset, backspacing, size, etc.
