Default New Product from UMI Performance- 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V Motor Mounts

2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V Engine Mount
Part # 2600
Factory replacement/Performance use
Price - $249.99/set

UMI Performance, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of our heavy duty engine mount (P/N 2600) for 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V applications. The OEM Cadillac engine mount is prone to failure which results in leaking damping fluid and increased engine movement. UMI’s fabricated steel and polyurethane bushing construction is designed to resist engine rotation while still offering damping as the factory intended. The tough 1/4” steel double shear bracket and Energy Suspension polyurethane loaded sleeve is designed to withstand all the punishment the big Caddy can deliver. On-car testing reports indicate minimal cabin noise and a sporty feel. Available in tough powder coated red or black finish; this engine mount uses Grade 10.9 hardware and is a direct bolt-in replacement for street or track use. Crafted with pride in Philipsburg, PA - USA.

Do the colors indicate different types of mounts (harder/softer) or is it just cosmetic?

Also how long is the introductory price going for?

Colors are just cosmetic on this item. We will be running this price until 11-18.

They may stiffen it up slightly but should be almost unnoticed. Hopefully once a few customers have them installed we can get some more reports on this.

Orders received last night will ship out earl next week. We have a batch in production now. Thanks for the orders

How would these compare to the UUC/CS style motor mounts? They seem like a much more solid construction allowing more vibration to get transmitted through. But they also seem like a part that would never need to be replaced again. thoughts?

I'd be very surprised if these mounts ever needed replacement after being installed. With the extra size of them will there be any possible clearance issues with headers installed?

Just curious, what does that mean in relation to a motor mount?

Also, great looking product, and glad to see some new alternatives to OEM. Some of the other alternatives just don't seem that great.

I talked to a guy at UMI today. He said that you can feel the engine torque the car a little since their mounts have much less give than factory or some of the aftermarket but he said its in no way a teeth chattering experience.

I asked if there were any header clearance issues and they werent sure. They said they work fine with factory manifolds. I hope they clear headers because I'm about to order some mounts and headers lol
