+1 on this...I've been planning on doing some of these mods and the pics would help me out enormously.

I am still able to edit the posts so maybe I can fix it.. I did notice the picture number is still in the original hyperlink, which, inexplicably doesn't match the current hyperlink for the same image. You might be right- I don't have the album set to private but I think there's only one "main" folder. Once you create a labeled folder, those might be excluded from public view..
Looking back I think I shuffled a bunch of pics since there were so many in the same folder, not knowing it would affect the forums. If I get time later I'll see if I can repair it one way or the other..

Yup, saw your thread. This thread had picture by picture of how to completly clean up the V shifter w/out going internal into the tranny. Which I plan on doing my clutch/shifter/cs 8.8 all in one shot on dec 18th and I need this thread to make sure I have all my duck in a row as far as what is needed for the shifter.

Ok so I immediatly went to home depot to find those parts and Cadzilla was right on, In the electrical Isle about half way down at eye level there they are.
Part # changed but still the same piece, and they cost 48 cents a piece! I bought six just incase I screw up! Here they are...

Good luck guys. Mine is still solid. I had forgotten about how loose it used to be, so last night I paid attention and had to put it in neutral and get close to hear any play because I could barely feel it. I'd say 1/16 inch play, at the ****..which means nearly none at the trans..
Those home depot bushings are a perfect fit..time will tell if heat or stress cracks them... They were originally discovered years ago by a guy on the caddy forum named normv. I think back then they were blue.
