Post header installation thoughts and video
My Pacesetter LT headers were installed last Friday at Speed Inc.; not without drama.
I went with the coated headers with extensions (no cats). I picked them up for $400 shipped from Amazon. The quality is solid; definitely not Kooks pretty but good for the price. The fit is excellent, there are no clearance issues.
My numbers after tune = 362/350 (pretty typical).
I love the sound and power. I tested the temps of the headers with my infrared thermometer gun. The highest reading was 280 degrees this is compared with 300 degrees for the stock manifolds and 200 degrees for the heat shields on the stock manifolds. I will be getting some heat wrap for the plug wires.

All the pacesetters for the vs are catless man...its kind of a plus and a minus at the same time (better performance leads to inspection hell). The collector is longer than on most other headers and there is simply no room to put cats unless you cut the exhaust. You have 3"-4" at best between the collector and the exhaust flange. But overall a great looking header for the price
