has anyone put a V-8 in a cts? l don't mean a cts-v.

Not sure, but it's definitely very possible. It's not like GM made an entire different body for the V, all they did was add a V8, probably some extra bracing, a slightly stronger (yet still week) rear end, T-56 trans, & a few other bells & whistles. BUT, I bet it would be a pretty involved process to swap a V8 into a regular CTS.... May as well buy a V LOL...
