Default Gauage Cluster LCD replacement

Since you have had your cluster apart...

My LCD screen on the left for Oil PSI etc... has a bad spot in it since I got it out of storage. If I bought a replacement cluster would I be able to swap out the LCD screen. I would change out the entire cluster but I do not want to mess with my mileage.

Thanks

By cluster do you mean a dim area, or some of the pixels are not operating correctly?

I did finally pony up for the stainless ones from US Speedo, but they are $200. They also have "Aqua" http://www.usspeedo.com/products/?part-number=ssctsv11

Here is my thread with pictures on the cadillac forum (2nd page for finished result shots): http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...-feedback.html

Thanks.. I almost bit on them
