Default Engine Covers

Hey Guys,

Does anyone sell the dual engine covers like the ones for the vette but for the v? I have seen some custom ones that are nice, but can't find anyone selling any for the V.

Thanks!

Yes. blacks. PNs: 12561502 & 3 for LS6. Summit Racing has them for $45 each side.

trim until they fit. Dremel with couple cutting wheels. sanding to clean up edges.

The GTO covers are also pretty badass with some V logos on them.

Ha, I don't mind them, but my friend has an 02 vette with them, so I want actual cadillac ones and all I have found are people that paid a ton for custom made ones.. and don't really wanna do that either.. Somthing like what I attached here

Those look like vette covers that someone bondoed up and then painted and put a cadillac and V emblem on them.

So buy a set like THIS

have body shop fill and sand down to get rid of the VETTE part. THen apply cadillac and V emblems.

I'd probably stick with one or the other. Both emblems is too much clutter.

I have these on my LS6, would be easy to fill, re-paint and toss a cadillac emblem on. I like the corvette personally, however if I were to go this route I would buy a vinyl cadillac emblem on e-bay, fill, prime and lay down your base coat. Then place the cadillac emblem on, spray top coat, remove vinyl emblem to expose base coat and then spray clear. I did this on my the front engine plastic cover (hides the radiator) and it came out great!

These do require a little modification to fit on the V though due to the fuel line routing.

I kinda like the corvette lettering. It's the true derivative of the engine and it makes the uninformed say, "Whoa, did you put that engine in there?"

Exactly. Like the people who see my debadged V and say "its just the regular one" then pop the hood and NOPE..

Plus a little vinyl and it looks amazing.

The corvette ones can look good and can be done differently. This is from my buddy's '02 sunset orange metallic Camaro. The 'LS6' is ground off and the grooves and texture are filled in with high build primer.
