I'm looking to trade a C for a V
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, I've had an 05 Corvette Coupe for almost 3 years and I'm ready to try something else. If any of you may be looking to try a Corvette and would like to make some sort of swap, let me know. I'm in Michigan but I have no problem with taking a ride. If anyone has any interest I can email pics. I love the look of all your cars on this site. The vette has been fun but I'd like something a little more practical....and the vette scares the hell out of my wife. She says it's too small and thinks she gonna die every time she's in it.

Ok, I'll try to figure out how to load pics. It's a precision Red Coupe. 74,500 miles, HUD, NAV, ebony int, I did add OBX stainless steel long tube headers, a vararam cai and had it custom tuned afterwards.

That's the only pic that will load so far and it's an older one.
It has polished aluminum wheels now and painted yellow break calipers.
I also recently started using all the Zaino paint products on it so the paint looks really good now. I don't know if you guys use that stuff but it really good. All the vette guys seem to swear by it.

It's actually way too quiet for me. It only opens up (noise wise) when you accelerate hard. I have headers but the mufflers are stock so the header noise increase is minimal. That was going to be my next upgrade though. I want more of throaty tone.
I don't get why all you guys can load all these big beautiful pics and all mine are too large. the photos are from my cell phone for gods sake. I would figure it would be a no brainer. Although my phone take great pictures I'm sure everyone else loads pics from their phones.
my email is: ron@rigbyneon.net if anyone wants me to email pics. I wounder if I can go into photoshop and reduce the size of a pic so it will fit in here.

Oh sorry Gab....I thought you were implying that your wife might think the vette was too loud. I re-read what you had written.
Yeah, your V seems like it may be much louder than what I have now.
I won't let her control things like that about my car, but I don't like the fact that she worries about dying when she's in the vette.
The car is sooo fast and you sit pretty low to the ground so I think she feels too enclosed.

The key to big pics is to store them on a photo site like photobucket or something. Then you go to the full size pic, right click and select copy url. Then in your post, click on the yellow icon that looks like a mountain and a sun - paste that link in there. Big high res pics.
Nice car by the way

Never satisfied....your car sounds like a beast! I'm sure it's beautiful but maybe too much for an old man like me....but I'll look at it. ron@rigbyneon.net
Thanks Bacon....I'll give that a try.
