I loved my v1, the room, the class, the versitility. But once I rode in my buddies c5 z06 a few years back, and then a c6 z06 katech street attack I knew I couldn't argue with the power to weight ratio!

In march I got paperwork to go work at the gm plant that builds the v's but I felt my plant was more stable. O well.

Grats man I love those cars my uncle has an 07 I did minor work to... Kooks LTs, ported TB, K&N kit, and got it tuned... Put down 465 in 100 degree weather damn beast... Tough choice between that and a V2 for me... Although that's years down the road haha

Dynojet? If so retune. Last one I did was a $200 intake and my tune. 485 in 100 degree heat. The ls7 is a beast for a stock motor.

I would take either but probably still lean a bit more towards the v2. More potential, practical, and can be had cheaper in most cases with the same miles.

yea there seems to be quite a variance in these motors with dyno numbers... Had some detonation, so had to back off timing I'm not sure what gas my uncle uses

I had a C6 for three years and really loved it for almost the entire time. For some reason I no longer wanted to be the 50 year old with the red corvette. They truly are great, very fast cars that draw a lot of attention most of the time. I live in Michigan, about 15 minutes from a well known street called Woodward. For the three years I had the vette I would take it to the Woodward Dream Cruise and have a great time but I'd always see at least twenty other corvettes. This year I went with tha V. I still saw all the corvettes, but not one other V did I see, and believe me, I was looking. I love that about the car....I think it just fits my personal style better than the vette did.

My car came from Belleville. Guy I got it from had it at the woodward cruise this year.
