Default Need a starter!

Went to change my starter over the weekend, and the one I got is too long, and won't fit.

Can anyone recommend one that will work? No parts stores have them.

I used a 2008 H2 starter when mine went out. The only difference was that it used a standard ring solenoid connector. NAPA's gold starter was too long, but the cheaper one (forget the name) was exactly the same size as stock. YMMV, so I would bring your old one with you.

FYI, for anyone that searchs and finds this thread, this DOES WORK!

I ordered the H2 starter from Amazon.com for around $60. Sure as hell beats the almost $200 from Napa.

It came in last night, I test fit it, and it's the exact size of the stock one. Amost looks the same also, minus the H2 starter having a stud for the trigger wire, and not that stupid connector the V starter has.
