I'm not sure what I want to do with my fog/turn signal lights. I have some VHT from a previous project.

Can someone tell me how they got the aftermarket HIDS to work with the halo headlights? I guess not so much work but attached. I am having a hard time grasping the wire cutting and plugs etc. I got my lights in and wired up but it got dark and had to put everything back together so I didnt do my HIDS yet.

Also used VHT on my fogs and I painted the bumper support behind the bumper satin black because it was raw metal showing thru the mesh grille.

Did everyone just mount the balast in the stock location and then drill a hole the correct size for the grommet in the side of the housing?

Nope, zip tied it through the holes on the ballast and zipped it to the frame of the car. I didnt get the DDM brackets + the halo brains are attached to the bottom of the housing where the ballast location is.

Is there any reason to not mount the ballast inside the lens housing? It fits right inside on the bottom.

Love the lights but I feel like the projects hard to get a good cut off line. Has anyone changed out the projectors yet?

My cutoff looks funny as hell, like to each light is a very distinct rectangle. I just set them the best I could and live with it. I also had a bad halo and made the mistake of sending it back to the guy in May, still waiting on a replacement.

yeah, the wire cutting/splicing/etc. is whats kinda holding me back on going with the dual halo ebay headlights. is there any online write ups on how to install these?

I would have to buy aftermarket hid ballasts since oem doesn't fit the ebay headlights, correct?
