so where can you get axles for the 8.8 change over any part numbers I know you can get from creative steel????

You an build them or get them from the Driveshaft shop.

Edit Imisread that: Stock V outers yes, but not ford inners to my knowledge.

The DSS axles are Ford inners. If you mean stock ford inner; I don't think so.

CS does not make axles, only brackets.

So will a solid axle 8.8 31 spline posi carrier work or will only a carrier from a IRS work.

I'm sure it would clear but why do you want to have a cover that says Ford Racing? I'd take it to my buddy's machine shop and have it ground smooth and have a Cadillac V put in it.

Just my thoughts but the designer of the brackets should of sandwiched the bracket between the housing and cover. That way any cover could be used.

I guess...if torqued correctly and maybe some RTV put around it for good measure, I don't think it would leak.

It's hard to keep something that's been welded on from twisting. Sealing something like that up might be a bitch
