Default 416 LSA build

We just finished up the 416 build on the car, I had a thread going on the CTSVOWNERS forum but figured I'd post it up here as well. Props go out to Mike from MCP Competition Engines who put the motor together, as well as porting everything and making the specs on the cam with Matt, owner and tuner of the shop, Tune Time Performance in Lakewood NJ.

Pics are from the start of the build until two days ago, Monday the 28th when we got the car up on the dyno.

Here we go,

The heads being ported,

The block all set for assembly.

Hmm wonder why the X pipe is so shiny compared to the rest of the ARH system..

Blower is on

The snout

And the fluidyne HX installed, really thick unit but kinda small looking outside of the car lol. We shall see how it performs on the dyno.

Ported throttle body

And here is the dyno video. Dyno is a mustang dyno, Numbers are 640RWHP and 628RWTQ!! Up from 525hp 525tq on the old setup of just the 9.1/2.5 with headers.

The graph

Compared to the old setup.

Driving the car is amazing, the torque is just insane! The best past is though, it's absolutely silent inside the car, gotta hand it to Cadillac they really nailed it with this car.
