Default Underbody wind deflector

I was wondering if the plastic deflector/splash guard/belly pan ( the plastic sheet that covers the underbody, not the rubber lip piece under the bumper) is the same on the base cts models. I seem to only find the base cts part. The rubber lip is the same for both; however, since the bumper design on the V is different is the belly pan also different? Reason I ask is because I have a base belly pan that has a chunk missing and I was gonna throw it on, my thinking is some cover is better than no cover. Also aside from making the hood vibrate at 65+ does it help stability in general? Read a thread by bamacadi that said he felt a huge difference while others said they felt none.

They are two different part numbers:

Front Air Deflector
CTS - Part # 25763401 (List $79.27)
CTS-V - Part #25752695 (List $94.95)

I could use a replacement myself, mine came off about a year and a half ago at 120mph, scared the sh*t out of me!

Yep different part numbers. Speaking of that, I need to put mine back on.

Mine blew off doing 140mph as well....Seems to be a pattern here, you guys need to slow down so your car doesn't fall apart lol.

Mine came loose at about 120 and started flapping. All the pressure under the hood when that thing starts to flap at that speed make the center of the hood rise a couple of inches. It's a little scary lol I ended up using some big washers and self tapping screws and screwed it to the front sub frame.

Mine is all hacked up in an attempt to accommodate the bottom of my inter-cooler reservoir which is mounted low. I'd love to get another one and try to fit it much better. That part no. is great to have. Thanks!

Thanks for the part number "et" def gonna help. I figured it has to be different... Also I may feel more hood movement because the cowl hood acts like a sail without it lol.
On another note I'm tired of paying 2x-3x more for these parts than V2 parts...really starting to irritate me haha

Amen! Things like these plastic trim pieces are WAY to expensive, I usually troll e-bay or craigslist for wrecking yards for any OEM parts I need.
