Weird 05 CTS-V battery issue???

Sounds like a ground issue.

Stop and go the cooling fans are operating.

The biggest culprit is the main ground under the hood strut.

Wire brush and a star washer added under the bolt head, not under the ground lug.

Hey man not sure if this will be your problem but I have been dealing with battery warning issues for a awhile and finally got around to fixing it. Anyway My problem was at the connecter/pigtail. I lucked out as the problem was right at the clip. I replaced it with a new pigtail and also cleaned my neg. terminals (although they were pretty clean) along with adding star washers.

Just thought I'd share that with you, something to think about if you keep having these problems. g/l

Hey thanks man, I haven't gotten around to working on it. My G8 dropped a DOD lifter so I dealt with that. I will keep everyone posted.
