Default Hoosiers

So I went to the track with my long tubes, CAI, untuned with street tires and ran a 13.3 @ 108 (infineon) just picked up some 255/35/18 Hoosiers.... Let's see what the car can do on some tires.. Praying I don't break anything...

I for see this not ending well. Hopefully they are bias ply wrinkle walls I guess. That might help reduce some shock to the drive train. My buddy destroyed his 10 bolt in his fbody with slicks and intake/head/cam/ headers.

Why wouldn't you get it tuned first ?? I would think it would run better

Yet you waste money on the strip and buying tires.

Find someone who will tune it now and reduce tuning coats later when you add mods.

Do it right, or don't do it at all.

Strip is $25 and tires we given to me..

you are unlikely to make much more power with a tune but it will be safer for the engine
