Default 04 V outer tie rod

I am replacing my front hubs and outer tie rods before putting my new pilot super sport tires and I am finding conflicting info. I found the hub torque is 100 ft lb but I can't find the tie rod nut spec.

I found 52lb but it says it has a cotter pin and the rods on the car don't have a place for a pin and the brand new ac delco tie rod ends don't have a place for cotter pins either? Just confused

Do they have cotter pins and what is the torque spec?

I found this

Install the outer tie rod to the inner tie rod. Do not tighten the jam nut at this time.
Important: Use the same number of turns that was used during removal.

Connect the outer tie rod to the steering knuckle.
Notice: Install the outer tie rod retaining nut.

Tighten the nut to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.) .
Install the tire and wheel.
Lower the vehicle.
Adjust the front toe. Refer to Front Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment

Just get the new outer as close to the original position as possible and tighten the jam nut. Your going to have to get an alignment when this is done in order to make sure you track straight and or eat a tire. Did this a little while ago, you should have no problems.

Anyone have any thoughts on brand of outer tie rods? Looks like ACDelco, Raybestos and Moog are the options on rockauto.com. I realize this is kind of like "what oil is best?", but just figured I would ask to see if anyone has had any good or bad experience using one of the above.

Thanks!

Never heard of anyone torquing a jamnut for a tie rod, just tighten it. They're all about the same quality, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of them.
