HID - light will flicker once and then remain off when starting

Good evening,

I have a problem with my driver side headlamp. Basically when starting the car the light will just flicker once rapidly and then remain off. I wonder if it is the bulbs or the ballast?

Sounds like a ballast/connector problem. It's a bit of a pain, but if you swap bulbs and it behaves the same, it eliminates a variable.

I had that same problem when I first got my V.
In my case, it ended up being the bulb.
