Default 05 V Bad window regulator?

Well I rolled the front passenger window down and when it got to the bottom I heard a loud bang and now the window seems like it is off track and doesn't move up and down smoothly. The motor seems to be fine so I am assuming it's a regulator. Sound right to you guys or is there something else that goes bad on these things? If it's a regulator can I replace just the regulator or is it a motor and regulator deal. Thanks in advance.

Should be an easy and inexpensive fix. My Passenger rear window did this. The motor was transferable into the new regulator. Only cost me about $30.

That would be a nice change for once something easy to fix and not 500 bucks. Where did you get your regulator from?

Yup. 30$ here too off of eBay. It is the same as a cts. It should also take less than an hour to change, it's easy.

Thanks for the offer Junior-1 but I ordered it off Ebay last night. The window went back up after it broke, is that still consistent with a bad regulator? The driver side is acting weird too. It won't go all the way down in auto mode. It stops about an 2 inches from being flush with the door panel. Then if I press the window button again it goes all the way down and clunks. Is this a regulator problem as well?
