Default V1 Forgestar cf5v production

Well you asked for it. Peter said we need 20 people for this to happen. The cf5v will only be available in 19" just like the f14s. Here is an image of what they look like. He sent me a pic of them on a v but the mac computer i'm on hates gmail apparently.

So let's start by gauging interest. We'll deal with color and details if there is a general interest. If it were to happen said it would be at least 90 days before we saw the parts available because they have to have a new mold made just for the 6 lug.

As far as payment, they ask for 25% non refundable deposit to start the group buy and another 25% once the parts are here and the remaining balance once the wheels are ready to ship. I'm waiting on Peter to confirm the pricing once his boss returns to the office on the 17th of feb.

I am interested but I want all the detail, not "I'd imagine" etc etc. Not trying to be rude but the details are important.

Edit just noticed....... What happened to the f14s that you just started a thread about????

I would rather have the cf5's and before I waste my time and peters time I'm gauging interest. Seeing as it's a weekend and I emailed peter for more details and there hasn't been a response I assume I'll have all the details Monday when he returns to work. I thought it would be best to get the thread about the possibility of a run up now since weekend traffic on the site is most likely higher and we can get maximum visibility.

F14s are available thru forgestar currently and another member who is a dealer has a f14 purchase going on currently that I was unaware of.

Hope you are not expecting 20 people to jump on a group buy over just a weekend! I guarantee you will be let down at that number.

Good luck. The CF5V doesn't match the V in any way, shape, or form. The CF5 is closer to a visual match, but you'll never get a group buy going without great pricing and concrete details (size, weight, offset) that match or exceed what already exists. Plus, the fact that we may have a 19x10 and 20x10 Forgestar F14 option for those of us with STS-V spindles (through assimilation of the Viper specification wheels) is not going to help.

Not to discourage you, but group buys are a lot of work--you have to develop a good plan well in advance of talking to a vendor. Based on your first post, it doesn't sound like you have a plan, or even know what the next step is.

Thanks fuzz actually looking at them on the new V I'd have to say you are wrong about the look on our cars.. Since this just came up around the end of the work day I'm just looking for a general interest.

Thanks for the reply on the clutch setup haha! I actually do have some questions for you but I'll address them in Pms later

Not looking for 20 over the weekend just seeing who all would be interested and giving the most people the opportunity to place their interest in this thread.

I was just stating that you had another thread with up to 8 people interested and then got confused when I saw this thread.

Where is the other thread with the f14 group buy, like I stated in the other thread I was interested because of the cheaper price because of the group buy? I don't see another post for a group buy, just yours

This isnt a commitment. But I am interested in another set of rims. These or the f14s possibly but I like these better.

So depending on pricing n timing. (I assume theres plenty of time to find the money at this point tho)

I would have to say i'd be pretty interested if it were the CF5, I was a fan of those back when i had mustangs, and think the clean lines would match the clean lines of the V.

Chammered pm'd me and said he had a group buy going. I was told that there wasn't going to be a better price on the f14 that was just the initial purchase. This thread is for the cf5v sorry if that frustrates you.

Kind of, yes. But i like the 5 star rather then the 7, 7 seems some what cluttered. Dont know that the 5 star vs 7 star is worth the price though.

Who knows dude, I'm still trying to figure it out. Thought we were on a group buy with 8+ people and now the thread is gone.

Lol, I might be interested in some wheels but again we need a lot more info. I'll wait until I see pricing, weight etc before I commit.

I don't think there is inventory available for the F14's, I was on this last batch that got done and I had to get on that in October. I think I read some where that another guy tried getting on it but the list was already filled for that batch.
