Default Finally put on the F14's

Discount tire got my tires in and I had some time to have these amazing wheels put on. I love how it looks, I was worried about rubbing but everything is perfect...no issues!

I LOVE the wheels but something in those pictures makes them look....wrong. Not sure what or how

its just cuz the tires are new and have that shitty shiney coating on em from the factory.

Looks good. Did Forgestar figure out the center cap issue or did you have to cut to fit? Haven't been keeping up on them since I'm trying to save money!

Glad you like them--have you taken a shot of your car from the back? The wider tires really give the V a muscular stance.

He has a little bit of a reverse rake on his car. The front wheel gap is larger than the rear wheel gap.

Yes, they created special raised center caps. If you don't like them, you can still choose the standard flat center caps and cut your rear axle stubs down by 2.5 threads.

Nailed it, Fuzzy. It's that slight angle the driveway has that throws the stance of the car off. Those raised center caps are BAD *** by the way. All the cool stuff going on with V1's these days is making me wish I didn't pick up a vette to build instead

I'll post some more pics after I wash it and park it on a level surface. I ended up cutting the axles down to get the caps to fit...I like the flush caps more.

Love the car with wheels in the hi-res shots. I just mounted mine this week as well and went with the raised caps. I think its looks pretty darn good that way and even used the factory lug nuts and chrome caps as well.

On that particular car, the wheels are 19x9" and 19x10" (the only option offered), with 245/35-19 tires front and 275/30-19 tires rear (one size smaller than normal). That's why the owner was able to set the ride height so low.

While I like his ride height and stance, I don't like the fender gap in front of and behind each wheel. Plus, he probably can't get super aggressive with the car without wrecking a fender. So, my intention is to have my fenders cut out, widened by 19mm, and raised approximately an inch to permit my car to accept Viper specification 20x10" and 20x12" wheels, with 285mm tires front and 345mm tires rear. The STS spindle mod and aftermarket trailing arms are also required to make that work. Right now, with the V2 brakes and the RacingBrake ET800 pads, I'm able to lock up the front tires at high speed, so I believe I would be doing myself a disservice to leave the body shop [my car was involved in a fender-bender a couple of weeks ago] without having this done.

This is mine right now with Hawk HP+ dust all over the wheels. The tires are 245/40-19 and 285/35-19 (normal size). Rot in hell, you terrible brake pads--I'm so glad to be free of the squealing and cement-like dust.

I'd recommend you swap over to the Hawk HPS pad. The HP+ is great pad designed for autox with low temp performance but dust horribly. The HPS is their more street friendly pad, and while they are still decent for autox they don't dust hardly at all.

I have to agree, I absolutely despise Hawk brand brake products.
