Default Fender stripes on CTS-V...thoughts?

Hey guys, I added some carbon fiber Di-Noc/anthracite Grand Sport stripes to my car, what do you think?

Not a fan, but not saying its not good. I think maybe since the fenders are so big, that it takes a lot of strip. Doesn't look bad though. So like the post ahead, I want to hate them but...cant.

Thanks for your honest feedback. I have a good friend that is also a car guy, he feels the same way, he wanted to hate them so badly but couldn't. Lol.

I had wondered about what it would look like to do some stripes like that. Thanks for doing it. I think it looks a little, I don't know, off? Maybe if they were moved forward just a little bit which would reduce the length of the second stripe? I don't like it, but I don't dislike it either. I do think you made a good choice on the color for the stripes.

I get the whole fender strip thing and they look great on a Corvette but I think they are out of place on the V...maybe if it had more of a roadrace attitude, but on a stock V, friad knot.

THANK YOU! I have been considering fender stripes on my V. I think there are two things really making these somewhat out of place. As mentioned they are too far back. Secondly they are too narrow.

I have a Thunder Grey and was considering doing a carbon fiber looking stripe but I think what I really want to do is just a dark tinted clear (ala ghost stripes). On a darker car like mine they really won't stand out as much as the cf on yours.

Personally, I think they should be almost twice as wide, on the drivers side only, and stop at the top of the fender, rather then at the seam with the hood.

Just my 2c

Subtle yet they have presence, tastefully done. Its hard to do stripes on these cars with the strong lines they carry.

Less is more, stickers look cheap on any car imo.

This.

Those don't look awful, but the V is understated car to begin with, that's why I like. Speak softly and carry a big stick kind of thing.

I didnt think that I would like it, but it definitely isnt as bad as I had initially thought. Wider stripes would be better i think

Agreed. It's a surprise I even still have all the emblems on the car ... Left only the V badges.

I think they kind of look like whiskers.

I'm generally not a fan of any stickers on a car that isn't a race car. And this is no exception. A Cadillac is a classy car and no need to cheapen the look of it. I say leave the stickers to the Civics and Evo's.

That said, it doesn't look half bad

I don't really consider my v a classy car per say , it's more of a chevy car with Cadillac badges at this point , and I also have the grand sport vette inspired decals also but only on driverside like the vette

Looks ok IMO. I wanted to do it as well but now that I actually see it on your car, it didn't turn out like I thought it would. Nice choice with the cf though. If it had been any gore color I don't think it would've looked as good

Not trying to be a buzz kill but since you asked I think they need to be wider.
