Default Abnormal Engine Temps.

With the Texas heat on the way, need advise on getting my engine temp. lowered. Under heavy traffic conditions my digital gauge reaches 235 sometimes. Where to start ? Electric fan replacement, radiator ? Thanks

The second fan turns on at 235F, there is nothing abnormal about that temp. Cadillac tuned the cars to run warm. (I'm assuming that the emissions numbers are better or something.)

digital gauge? Coolant or Oil?

Have you checked all your under hood grounds? A Star washer on the grounding cable in the engine bay seems to work for some guys.
