Why don't you call your local gmc dealer and say I am looking for the OEM hose clamp for my year car vin number ##### It is the one hose clamp on the small power steering line at the pump

Isn't it just a spring clamp? Can't you just measure and get a generic one at autozone or whatev? I looked in the service manual (quickly) and wasn't sure which one you meant.

Thicken the skin a little...The part you are asking for is a spring clamp. You have to find out the diameter of the line and source one. A worm clamp can be found at Lowes and Home Depot and does the exact same thing but you have to turn it with a socket or screwdriver.

It's not really a specific GM part or any other make/model part. They come on lawn mowers and Hondas too!

You are getting jabs because it's a common item that can be sourced about anywhere - autoparts store, internet, etc.

Bingo!

And those spring clamps are an unnecessary pain in the *** IMO, hence my recommendation to hit Lowes or Home Depot. I didn't realize I needed to specify that one should look for a more user-friendly worm clamp there rather than expecting a hardware store to sell GM parts.

Yep that's your opinion. The worm clamps are **** in my opinion. You put the worm clamps on your car I will stick with the spring clamps. How's that ?

That's super. With that in mind, instead of going to Home Depot or Lowes I recommend you call the dealership to get the part. I've heard the dealer sells GM parts. I'm surprised you didn't think of that already.

Try Nalley Buick gmc website, they have a good parts finder with diagrams and gm part numbers. I often get my info there, then search the web for the cheapest seller.

This isn't cf man. Recommend you either help a brother out or don't respond at all. The condescension is tacky.

That really goes for all the useless posts in this thread
