Brights and Fogs on at same time

The solution to this problem on my Nissan was to rewire the fog lamp relay to get 12V power from a source that wasn't switched off with the hi beams. In my case, the fuse for the rear wiper motor(deleted on my car) was very close in the fuse panel and I depinned everything from underneath. Now the fog lamp relay sees 12v as soon as the ignition is on and they work whenever the switch on the stalk is activated, regardless of what state the other lights are.

This is how they do it on the trucks(Just copied from Dieselplace):
I did the same mod, and found the how to on another site and the fog diode should go to 85 pin on the high.
Mine work like this:
diode from 85 low to 85 high (high 4)
diode from 85 high to 85 fog allows the fogs to stay on while in high 4.
What they are doing is jumping the relay trigger posts with a diode to trigger the fogs, while the highs are on. But on them the low beans shut off so they put one between the high and low beams to get them all to be on. I didnt know if we could just do it this way or not, I would rather not fry something.
