Tryin to buy a V1

I bought my car with 90k and it constantly needs parts replaced. At 126k now and I've spent far too much money on maintenance parts as compared to go-fast parts. If it's a 100k car in nearly stock form, be prepared to spend a lot of $$ on repair parts. Many of them are upgrade-able opportunities like the clutch and flywheel, but others are just little pockets of $$ that don't necessarily make the car faster, nicer, quieter, etc.
If I were to seriously consider a V1 (being in your position) I would buy one that has been meticulously maintained and already upgraded from a forum member and let them take the hit. You'll pay a little more up front, but you'll end up saving a lot of time on your back in the garage and money in the long run.
In most cases, buying a car that hasn't been modded is a good thing, but with this car most items are a necessity.

Only really looking to spend what it books for. That's kinda why I was trying for one at a dealership. I know somebody who has spent time and money on it will want more for their car

108k on my 06. Stock everything except the previous owner did headers and exhaust which is awesome. He also replaced the harmonic balancer pulley at 90k as they develop a wobble over time.
Original stock motor mounts, stock clutch, flywheel, original all bushings, original differential. Everything works and performs well still. Original suspension minus sway bar bushings I replaced. I think my motor mounts have sagged a little bit and could be replaced but nothing that you notice when driving. There is maintenance items like any car but don't think they are a money pit.

Intake
Gforce axles
Ati damper
Comp cams truions
Plugs msd wires
W4m tune
Rev shift mounts engine/trans
New radiator(not really a mod but common failure)
I've put 20k miles on it in the past year just ready for more room and with snow as of next winter with moving it's not the right car for me anymore

If you plan on driving it moderately hard some of the time (can't believe some people don't) I'd go with what BudRacing said and try to find one with more mods instead of stock.
You WILL have to change the motor mounts and diff busing at the very least on a stocker.

FWIW I paid 21k for my 05 last August with 22k miles on it. It still needed a radiator! (just installed the Alradco) Motor mounts are shot, and needs a diff bushing. So to go with what people say above, buying this car with mods isn't something to shy away from.

Not tired as much as the next mods it would take on are cam rear axle etc. I typically buy spruce them up and sell. I'm originally from Chicago and while I've dd camaros and stuff in the snow, just don't feel like dealing with it again since moving south
