I finally found one, it's in riudoso NM. I got a check from the bank for it just waiting for him to get the title then I'll go pick it up (banking on nothin being wrong with it when I check it out). It has K&N intake and corsa exhaust and spec stage 2 clutch and billet flywheel (guess I'll never understand the pains of a dual mass flywheel) other than that I believe it's all stock, has 125,000 miles for $11,000. Can't wait to go get it, thank you all for your advice on this

No gto because I don't care so much for them anymore and I want 4 doors, why the comparison of the 2?

I owned both of them. Both ls2 powered still like the V better. Post some pics of the V if the deal goes through

I got my new caddi yesterday, after driving it 3 hours and some change back home I already love it, it needs a bit of work but that's what happens when you chase down the cheapest thing you can get so no complaints just gotta get it all sorted out so I can start doing stupid things to it like headers and cam and all that crap a street driven car doesn't need. Pics after I wash it and I'll list out what's wrong with it and see if you guys know anything I won't turn up in a search

Glad you like the car. Revshift bushings for the car does wonders plus the trans mount insert. Plus motor mounts if they are done for. Do those while you are doing headers makes it alot easier. https://www.revshift.com/shop/cts-v.php

Is the revshift insert better than the creative steel Trans mount? Or am I looking at different things, bout to clean the MAF, threw a check engine light today both banks lean and other codes from lean condition, vauto zone guy said usually MAF I can believe it's dirty from looking at the filter so gonna clean the MAF and see if it clears the code on its own in the next couple days.

Also anybody ever had to replace steering wheel position sensor? Wondering how much fun I'm in for. It's saying the abs module is bad as well is that likely from the steering senso being bad?

Man, I wouldn't have bought a car with THAT many problems. The SWPS is kind of a common part to go bad, but the install didn't look terrible. Just have to make sure you don't damage the steering column/airbag. I don't think the ABS module is affected by the SWPS, but I'm not sure.

I can't comment from experience on either of the trans solutions, but from a design aspect I like the revshift insert better for comfort purposes. It retains the stock rubber, but also supports it.

The current short term solution is turning off traction control and then nothing is affected so it's still drivable I don't mind fixing things as long as I can do it at my own pace and not be too affected

Mine had the abs module, steering sensor, and steering rack go out and cost me $2200 to get it all fixed. But a steering sensor is around $100 for it. And im pretty sure a abs module is around $600. But could just need to be reprogrammed.

I'm assuming you had all the work done at a shop? I'll look into the revshift spacer then

OP's avatar is him at the track which means he likes the 1/4 mile. This car blows in the 1/4 and it makes me miss my Bolt on TA every time I try and run from a dig. I like the car, but if you are planning to do an 1/4 runs, you need a 4500 dollar rear to run the same times as stock.

For a daily you need all new bushings and mounts to "fix" the clunking anyway.

Just my two cents
Then that's the prettiest "track" I've ever seen.

As far as the T/C light goes:

I'd replace the steering wheel position sensor first:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...r-install.html

There's another sensor under the back seat (I can't remember what it's called) but that would be the 2nd thing I looked into.

I just had to replace the ABS module on my gf's SRX because the T/C light stayed on at all times, but her brake lights never shut off and the power steering didn't work as well. To replace the module wasn't hard at all, but it was salty. It also needed programmed after to make it work.

Took it on the annual RSW jemez cruise and it did great, only bitch is I can't figure out how to reset the ecu, I tryed pulling two fuses labeled ECM and ECM/TCM and still have the check engine light, problem may be solved but I'm not sure.

Anyway here is a few pictures

Dude that checked the codes said since it's both banks it's likely bad MAF and to try cleaning it first, seemed legit because MAF was dirty as hell but hasn't cleared out the light yet
