Default srx floor mats in a V

I know this is boring stuff but i'm doing my best to keep my V1 in good condition on a budget so i'm just going to throw this out there...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cadillac-SRX-gray-carpet-floor-mats-2004-2005-/321100184740?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac30ffca4
as compared to V1 mats...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cadillac-CTS-tan-carpet-floor-mats-03-07-/321333101875?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ad0f20533&vxp=mtr
so, the V1 GM stock replacement mats are discontinued but there seems to be a good stock of GM SRX mats out there and they look identical to me.....as far as I can tell, the part numbers aren't crossing over so there must be something slighty different about them.....so my question is

Has anyone ever used SRX mats in a CTS?

and no, i'm not a fan of the lloyds mats because there is little place on my floor for a logo that has white in it because gray is hard enough to keep clean...over the years i've seen logos "delaminate" and look ragged long before the mat is really shot...not sayin the lloyds mats will do this but...

thanks in advance for your time.

I believe that the Gen1 SRX and Gen1 CTS were built on the same chassis, which I suppose would mean that the floor pan could be identical. If I were you, I'd find a gen1 SRX on a used car lot and stop buy and compare them.

I wouldn't trust eBay photos to make a comparison between CTS and SRX mats.

Lloyds mats can be purchased without the embroidered logos, in fact, they're cheaper that way.

took a chance on the srx mats in the ad above and they turned out to be a perfect match....full set $71 shipped, they had more gray sets and a black set if anyone is interested.

More importantly, this may mean that the WeatherTech floorliners for the 03-07 SRX might work in the CTS-V, which along with the standard CTS, are models they deemed unworthy of a digital fit product.

Looking at the picture of the srx digital fit weathertech mats it looks like the bottom part of the mat that swings inward would interfere with the cts center console...would be awesome if they fit tho. That part could just be trimmed I suppose.

I was thinking about the weathertechs as well. Would love to know if they fit.

i got the mats in a gm bag and the part # matched what was in the ad and it is a srx part number but why gm wouldn't use the same number for the cts mats is beyond me.

hope this works out with the weather techs but the srx was offered with an awd option...there may be 2 different mats for this platform.....

Yep, the weather tech website only allows you to select the AWD option for the SRX. Might be worth a drive up there, they're local to me.
