Default Um.....why has no one spoken of this?

A V1 with a V2 front clip!!!

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/4412573968.html

Just the options that would allow for more hoods makes it worth it! Plus, I bet I could sell my V1 front clip and make money by switching! V2 stuff is soooo.....much cheaper since it was way over produced!

I'm seriously contemplating this.....

I thought it was going to be terrible! But it looks pretty damn good! I wish he posted some better pics of what the car looks like from the side. I would like to see how everything flows together.

yup...that's killer...open up aftermarket hood options too. wonder if the core support has to be swapped too? I'd bet so.

The body lines match up surprisingly well. Interesting. I just got a big ol' dent in my fender anyway ....

Just called, no answer.

Our doors have that body line on top that the V2 doesnt, im sure it looks horrible when next to eachother, maybe thats y he only took pics of the front and interior.

There is a reason those pictures were taken with the doors open... and why the price is so low.

I'd say the price is actually high considering 150k and a salvage title.

But I agree, he intentionally left the doors open and only took pictures from the front for a reason.

From the pictures, that looks surprisingly nice on a V1... but I'm willing to bet that the pitcures were taken in poor lighting conditions and with the doors open for good reason. That would be a LOT of work to get a V2 clip to match up well with a V1...

even if everything did line up perfectly, it's ugly.

the V2 front end is awful and the coupe rear end is awful, too. i'll keep my V1.

V1 has far superior looking front end, but I do kind of like the V2 hood

I prefer a V2 front end over the V1, just looks more aggressive in my opinion. Regardless, I'd like to see more shots of the whole thing, and if there's a possibility of someone making fenders that have the body lines molded to match the V1 doors then I'm definitely in.
